Aero-Environmental’s experts have provided construction oversight and project management on multiple projects. Air monitoring was conducted throughout and final clearances to close the project. Aero-Environmental has provided emergency response services at the Crossroads shopping center in Carmel and Northridge shopping center in Salinas. We have conducted asbestos assessments and microbial/water damage investigations.
In preparation for the renovation and sale of the Cyber Data Building, a large commercial building, Aero-Environmental conducted a large scale mold/moisture industrial hygiene assessment and conducted a comprehensive asbestos survey. Aero-Environmental coordinated all abatement activities with the contractor, conducted a complete mold and asbestos survey, worked with the abatement contractor to verify quantity of materials removed to ensure compliance with all local and state regulations.
Aero-Environmental performed a demolition survey prior to a complete demolition of a 3-story apartment building in Santa Cruz, CA. Our team reviewed documentation and performed sampling to determine asbestos content in building materials to meet the regulatory requirements for demolition. Aero-Environmental collected and analyzed appropriate characterization samples during the Hazardous Materials survey. Other hazardous materials such as PCB flourescent light tubes and mercury switches were inventories for handling and disposal.
Aero-Environmental was contracted to provide Industrial Hygiene consulting services for a new Monterey County Health Department Building. In response to fulfilling all of the LEED requirements for obtaining a credit for Indoor Air Quality, the prime contractor retained Aero-Environmental to provide exposure assessments for specific contaminants such as VOC’s and formaldehyde inside the building. Aero-Environmental then developed a site-specific Indoor Air Quality Report for the prime contractor. Continuous air monitoring using PID equipment was provided for the duration of this project.
Aero-Environmental has worked on over 20 projects at the Sutter Health (Palo Alto Medical Foundation), Central Coast Pediatric Center, and Santa Cruz Veterinary Clinic since 2007. We have assisted these hospitals with multiple services on an on-call basis for projects such as short term small scale abatement emergency response and ongoing maintenance and operations. We have provided a full range of consulting services including: environmental, asbestos, lead-based coatings, industrial hygiene, indoor air quality, and mold assessments.
Aero-Environmental has worked on over 50 projects for the Salinas Union High School District, Greenfield Unified School District, King City Unified School District, Soledad Unified School District, Alisal Unified School District, and Monterey Unified School District. Aero-Environmental served as a third party environmental consulting firm for multiple programs. Washington HS project included abatement oversight, 3rd party monitoring, and recommendations related to the disposal of hazardous materials from the site. Aero-Environmental also provided Project Submittal review and Work Plan review for all of these projects.
